The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events. The Boston Athletic Association manages this American classic, which is sponsored by John Hancock Financial Services. Since 2016, The Sports Museum has been fortunate enough to join one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events, The Boston Marathon.
This year, our philanthropic efforts will again be dedicated to our award-winning educational program that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community, Boston vs. Bullies. We are thankful to the The Sports Museum 2023 Marathon Team for fundraising and running for us.

The Sports Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution housed in the TD Garden that has served Boston and New England for more than 40 years.
At The Sports Museum, we celebrate the character of Boston sports — the unique brand of teamwork, determination, responsibility, courage, fairness, and other qualities of character possessed by our teams and athletes that make Boston “The Greatest Sports City in America.” Equally important, we use this distinctly rich heritage to help build character in kids so that they can stand strong in the face of drugs, violence, and other dangers.
