Brock Holt at Rumney Marsh Academy
The students at Rumney Marsh Academy were awarded Boston vs. Bullies 2017 School of the Year for their hard work in creating a safe and welcoming school environment. After receiving their award, Brock Holt of the Boston Red Sox surprised the students and answered their questions on bullying.
National Bullying Prevention Month 2017
In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month and Boston vs. Bullies, the Zakim Bridge, TD Garden, and Government Center were lit up in orange on October 25th. Students also shared pictures of their Boston vs. Bullies team for #MyBvBTeam day.

The Lafayette School in Everett, MA was awarded the 2017 New Balance School of the Season. During the award ceremony, we also announced that Boston vs. Bullies has reached 50,000 kids.

The Murphy K-8 School in Dorchester, MA was recognized as the Boston vs. Bullies School of the Year for 2015 by Boston City Council members.
Heros Among Us – Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors
In honor of Bullying Prevention Month and for his efforts to stop bullying in Boston, the Boston Celtics celebrated Rusty Sullivan, Executive Director of The Sports Museum as a Hero Among Us on October 30, 2015.
