Nicholas Collins has served as The Sports Museum Assistant Manager since January 2024.
As the Sports Museum Assistant Manager, Nick will oversee the day-to-day operations of tours at the Sports Museum with the museum guides. He is the main point of contact for customer service inquiries for tours of the Sports Museum. He also assists development, curatorial, and the education department as needed.
Nick joined The Sports Museum in a part-time capacity as a Museum Assistant in June 2018. Since then, he has led numerous Sports Museum Tours and TD Garden Arena Tours assisted in the daily operations of the museum, and provided support for exhibit installation and maintenance. In April of 2022, Nick continued to do all of this in his new role as Lead Museum Assistant with increased responsibilities in terms of scheduling, managing, and assigning Museum Assistants to Public Tours, VIP Tours, and Field Trips. He is also playing an expanded role in the overall admissions and operations of the museum.
Nick attended UMass Boston, where he earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in History and another in Sport Leadership and Administration.
