The Sports Museum is proud to be a part of the 2024 Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program. As one of the charity partners, The Sports Museum will have a team of runners in the 128th Boston Marathon.
The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events. The Boston Athletic Association manages this American classic, which is sponsored by Bank of America. Since 2016, The Sports Museum has been fortunate enough to join one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events.
Members of Team Boston vs. Bullies receive a charity bib entry into this exclusive event by raising funds for The Sports Museum.
This year, our philanthropic efforts will again be dedicated to our award-winning educational program that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community, Boston vs. Bullies. We are thankful to The Sports Museum 2024 Marathon Team for fundraising and running for us.
If you are still interested in fundraising for Boston vs. Bullies you can BYOB- bring your own bib. Runners who have their own bib for the 2024 Boston Marathon can join our team with a fundraising minimum of $3,000. Please email Maggie Finley at [email protected]

At The Sports Museum, we celebrate the character of Boston sports — the unique brand of teamwork, determination, responsibility, courage, fairness, and other qualities of character possessed by our teams and athletes that make Boston “The Greatest Sports City in America.” Equally important, we use this distinctly rich heritage to help build character in kids so that they can stand strong in the face of drugs, violence, and other dangers.
